In his own words . . .
Why commit to gender equity?
My view on this is quite straight forward, gender equity is the right decision, it aligns with my values and we are at our best when we have input from a broad base of people and experiences.
The value of gender diversity/equity in the workplace is that it absorbs the experiences and views of society as it grows. Businesses should be a reflection of societal growth; which becomes more achievable with a gender balanced input.
Our journey at Programmed has demonstrated that the more balanced we become in gender the more sustainable we become with our thinking, actions and outcomes.
It is up to business leaders to help drive this need for gender equity across their organisations and more broadly across society.
