As a male-dominated blue collar workforce, the challenge to balance gender participation across our business is a significant one.
Our industry is changing, along with many others across our State, so we need to adapt to meet changing community needs. One of the key drivers of change is diversity in thinking, skills, backgrounds and perspectives of our people.
It’s up to our senior leaders to be role models for equality, by building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline. As a leadership team we’ve decided to be bold and establish targets to accelerate the rate of change. You simply can’t drive change if you keep doing the same things.
