WHY COMMIT TO GENDER EQUITY?

As a global technology company, home to more than 222,000 people across 60 countries, HCLTech believes workplace equity and diversity are essential in creating a supportive workplace environment that promotes and fosters great leaders.

I became a member of CEOs for Gender Equity because I recognise that it’s important for companies and senior staff across Australia to make purposeful and strategic commitments towards creating a work environment and culture that cultivates diversity and gender equity.

Unfortunately, the tech industry has been notoriously slow to see significant change in gender equity, however, we see the exceptional growth of the industry as an opportunity to drive more inclusiveness and break down any existing barriers that prevent this important transformation.

I’m proud to be among other CEOs and leaders that are committed to making this change and inspiring a shift in workplace culture from the top down
