The Career Taster Program (CTP) is an innovative program, designed to inspire secondary school students to become 'career curious' about further study opportunities and potential careers. The CTP is available to all Year 9 students across all regions of Western Australia.

The CTP provides students with the opportunity to explore various industries and occupations through ‘real world’ practical career taster experiences.

Employers and industry bodies play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the CTP. Industry-led experiences provide students with realistic insights into the workforce. The program offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your industry to young people, sparking their curiosity about current and future career pathways. Participating in the CTP also allows employers to make a positive contribution to their local communities and help shape the future workforce.

She Codes is a coding program for women, upskilling women from various backgrounds. We work with businesses to fund scholarships on a 1-1 basis (one spot for an internal staff member from our partner orgs, funds one opportunity for a woman from the community). We also have mentoring opportunities available for your software team.

This workshop specifically addresses the unique challenges of becoming a new parent within a FIFO family, providing insights into mental health support, family-friendly policies, and shared caregiving strategies, ensuring families are equipped to thrive as they adjust to the demands of a new baby and FIFO work.

These workshops equip FIFO families with practical tools to support mental wellbeing, strengthen communication and promote shared caregiving responsibilities. By focusing on maintaining mental health and fostering inclusive practices at home, they support families navigate the challenges of separation. By supporting both the worker and their family, these sessions reduce stress, enhance family stability, and improve the FIFO worker’s focus and performance, ultimately leading to a safer and more productive FIFO workforce.
